Southwest Wisconsin Association of Libraries Annual Meeting
The Southwest Wisconsin Association of Libraries Annual Meeting is held each year in November for the professional development of 45-50 library staff from public, K12, and academic libraries. The meeting includes a mix of keynote, concurrent, and social sessions that aim to allow participants to learn from and connect with one another. Session topics have included change management, e-content services and trends, strategic planning, staff engagement, marketing, wellness and wellbeing, diverse collection development, universal design, and more.
How WiLS fuels the SWAL Annual Meeting
SWAL has contracted with WiLS to coordinate this meeting since 2015. WiLS identifies and works with presenters to prepare programs, solicits sponsorships and manages finances, provides the registration gateway, coordinates with the venue for space and food, and manages communications before, during, and after the event. WiLS has managed both in-person and virtual versions of this meeting.
