Staff Access
When you log in to Credo InfoLit with the credentials provided above, you will have access to the InfoLit Admin Dashboard. This includes access to the InfoLit content as well as additional admin functions. You will see the following tabs:
- Course: Here you can view the outline of the InfoLit content and preview any of the videos, tutorials, and assessments. In addition, there is a section of supplementary material under the heading “Faculty Module” at the bottom of the course outline.
- How to Use tab – Here you can find information about how to get started with InfoLit, including descriptions of student access options, admin functions, where to find FAQs and how-to information, and more! In addition, at that tab you will find our privacy and accessibility statements as well as our Terms of Use.
- Instructor – On this tab, you have access to the following admin functions:
- Credo Insights – Insights is our reporting platform, where you can access usage and assessment data.
- Data Download – here you can mass-export all assessment data from your account into a .CSV file.
- Link Constructor – this interface is used for generating links, embed codes, and LTI links that can be used for student facing access/integration. Please note that LTI capability is not included in trial accounts, but is a feature of the full product.
- Note* – In this trial, you will not have access to the Studio editing functionality to directly edit the text and quizzes of the InfoLit content. Please see here for more information about Studio.
- Information about the InfoLit Admin dashboard can be found here
- For technical documentation, FAQs, and troubleshooting tips, you can also check out our Help Site.
Student Access
To preview the student view of the product, you can use the “View course as” option on the Start Here tab to toggle over to the “Learner” view. In “Learner” mode you can see the course as a student would. Students have access to the content only and not any of the additional admin tabs.
Promotion to Faculty
The best way to ensure that your students get the most out of InfoLit is to promote it to faculty, letting them know what InfoLit is and how it can help in their classroom. Credo makes this easy by offering several kinds of materials on our Help Site. In addition, once you are an InfoLit customer, our Customer Success team will work with you to address your particular institution’s information literacy needs using our materials.
If you have any questions, or have any feedback on what you see, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thanks again for trialing Information Literacy, and have a great day!
