As a member of the Admin and Cooperative Purchasing teams, my main responsibilities are in helping administer WiLS’ many goings-on and working with the public and K12 cooperative purchasing subscription process. That’s a long-winded way to say I push a lot of buttons, enter a lot of numbers, and send a lot of emails!
On the personal side, I grew up in Holmen, Wisconsin, and will shortly be moving to the Baraboo area. Last year I finished my BS in anthropology, history, and archaeology from UW–Madison. Some of my interest areas on that front are queer, Indigenous, and working class history, neolithic to iron age Scandinavian archaeology, and archives of all sorts. I also do graphic and web design on the side, both freelance and for UW–Madison in the past (my favorite colors are bright reds, warm pinks, light blues, and deep greens). Some of my other scattered interests include backpacking, drinking inordinate amounts of tea, and Eurovision!
Incidentally, most of my family also works in libraries, with my sister currently at the UW–Oshkosh library and my mother at the La Crosse County Library, so it must’ve been fate that led me to WiLS! I’m super excited to be joining WiLS right now and the wonderful community we have!
