As a resource for WiLS members, we are creating a compendium of makerspaces among our member libraries. The purpose is to help facilitate the sharing of valuable information as libraries plan for, create, and improve their maker spaces, programs, and outreach.
If you have a makerspace in your organization, large or small, please share your information below and contribute what you’ve learned to the community in this Makerspaces in Wisconsin Libraries survey.
If you’d like to reach about Wisconsin library makerspaces, see the compendium of survey results so far.
Our friends Josh Cowles at Fond du Lac Public Library and Brian Kopetsky at McMillan Public Library are forming a WLA Special Interest Group focused on makerspaces. If you’d like more information or to participate, visit https://goo.gl/forms/ukm30q3PJUOmcZwy1.
