We are excited to share these improvements to MyWiLS for WiLS Cooperative Purchasing! You will see these updates live in MyWiLS in the next few days.
In addition to a variety of cosmetic and accessibility upgrades that will make using MyWiLS easier than ever, users can expect these specific changes:
Purchase Orders
- Purchase Order (PO) numbers can now be added in the “WiLS to Invoice” tab.
- If your institution requires a PO before being invoiced, you will now see a popup reminder when approving subscriptions if one is not entered.
Subscription and Renewal Filters
- Additional filters and sorting options will make all subscription tabs easier to navigate.
- Outstanding renewals can now be filtered to see only those assigned to you.
Enhanced Support for New and Existing Users
- Prospective Cooperative Purchasing participants will now be able to trial MyWiLS before deciding to join.
- New users can request MyWiLS access directly from the MyWiLS login page.
- MyWiLS Help & Resources will be available on all tabs in the Subscriptions section.
- Login error messages will contain more detail to help identify issues.
Account Customization
- Institutional contacts can be added and changed from within MyWiLS.
- Subscriptions will have a “Request Changes” option to allow users to request a change in dates, assigned contacts, sites covered, and other subscription details.
More Detailed Information
- More information about the various types of monthly statements will be displayed.
- More vendor documents will now be available in MyWiLS, including VPATs and license agreements.
- Some subscriptions will now feature a “Sites” field. Used primarily for K12 subscriptions, this will detail which school buildings are covered by the subscription. (If this option is not applicable to your subscription, the field will not appear.)
- Users will now see a “Pending Quotes” tab, which will list subscriptions that are in process but not yet ready for approval.
