New Gale Partner Contacts

WiLS staff

Hello and Happy New Year!

Upon the New Year, we wanted to introduce ourselves as your new Gale contacts! We are excited to work with Wisconsin libraries, as we are from the area ourselves. Please get to know us – we hope to get to know you!

Amanda Winchel, Strategic Account Director, Central North America

Amanda grew up in rural, Southwestern Wisconsin, and recently moved back in 2020, after a 20+ year hiatus. She enjoys visiting her small-town library within the Winding Rivers Library System, in Hillsboro, WI, with her 9-year-old son. They often go canoeing in the summers down the Kickapoo and love the 400 State Trail for a leisurely bike ride. Amanda has been with Gale for 11 years and is passionate about working with libraries on the adult high school program, data projects, and ensuring that libraries have the right mix of resources for their specific community needs. She is currently reading, All You Have to Do Is Call, by Kerri Maher.

Alex Suzore, Education Sales Consultant, Central North America

Alex has worked with Gale for about 2 years as an Educational Sales Consultant. She lives with her husband and two kids in a shipping container home. When she’s not taxiYing to sports, her and the kids love to visit the local library and kayak the Huron River. Her favorite part of working at Gale is helping to make a difference within the communities she supports. To her, the resources help to improve the lives of patrons. From Early Literacy to Small Businesses, all stages of life are covered. In fact, one of her favorite resources is Udemy. She can get a bite-size lecture or a full course, depending on her needs. Alex just started reading The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah.

Again, we are excited to work with libraires so close to home!

If you are interested in learning more about the Gale programs we are passionate about, feel free to read a little more below.

Gale’s adult high school programExcel Adult High School is a 100% online, life changing program for adults 18 and older, available through the public library. Gale has been working with an adult high school program (not a GED) for nearly 10 years and has worked with over 200 libraries and has helped to graduate nearly 5,000 adults. In Wisconsin, there are over 325,000 adults without a high school diploma, many of which are in rural areas with few options. Excel gives these adults another chance to change their career and financial trajectories, improving their lives and the community at the same time.
