For years, we’ve been working with the Wisconsin library community to help them develop, write, and implement their strategic plans but we haven’t used those same processes and tools on our own work – until now! We are more than grateful to our partners, and members and non-members alike, who took the time and energy to share their input with us on the direction of WiLS for the next five years. Through community conversations and surveys, you’ve told us what you need and what you want from us, and we’ve developed a framework for turning those ideas into action that we are excited to share with you.
This framework will serve as a guide to help us make decisions about work we take on and work we decline, about how we can better serve the Wisconsin community of libraries and cultural organizations, and about how we can ensure our own organizational health.
