About Barbara Alvarez, Associate Lecturer and PhD Student University of Wisconsin-Madison
Barbara is an instructor in Library and Information Science at three different universities. She is also a PhD student in Information Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where her focus is on information access for reproductive health. Barbara is a 2022 Library Journal Mover & Shaker and is working on her second book about how public libraries can provide sexual and reproductive health information to their communities.
