This WiLSWorld Shorts was held on Friday, October 7th at 1:00 pm CT. You can watch the recording on our YouTube channel or view the slides.
In this session, we welcome Elizabeth Tomev from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to discuss the importance of communicating positive library events, programs, staff milestones, and more. We will look at the types of communication tools available and how best to use them together, such as press releases, social media, direct calls to media, and a library’s own website. Attendees will walk away with new knowledge of how to develop their own strategic communications plan that the library and its staff can follow year-round no matter the size of their staff.
We hope to see you there!
