WiLS 1st Annual Fall Classic: Thank You For Bowling

Thank you so very much to those who attended and sponsored the WiLS WLA Librarians v. Vendors Bowling Tournament last week at the Kalahari Lanes.  Much pizza was devoured, many strikes were rolled, eight banana trophies were awarded, celebration dances were impressive, and fun was had by all!

Drum roll please!  Our award winners were:

  • Best Golfer – Raina Roloff
  • Best Delivery – Connie “Granny” Meyer
  • Best French Transit Worker – Sarah Strunz
  • Best in Show – Sarah Strunz
  • Best Dressed – The Bowlerinas
  • Best Team Name – The Bowlean Operators
  • The Ginger Rogers – Sharon Grover
  • Best Emcee – Jeff Brunner

Congratulations to all!  The evening had a great turnout of nearly 60 people and, of course, librarians won the night with a top-five total of 667 pins, versus the vendor total of 531.
