Have you ever found yourself scrambling to find a copy of a specific policy, task procedure, or even the office copy machine’s user manual? Is there a lot of information stored in one or two staff members’ heads that should be written down somewhere? If this sounds like your organization, then this WiLS pilot service might be for you.
The Documentation Lab is a supportive, judgment-free, guided group-learning-and-doing experience. Over the eight weeks of the Documentation Lab, participants will walk through exercises and activities to help you locate, centralize, and organize your team’s documentation, as well as help you plan to update or develop new documentation as needed.
This is a pilot service, but what does that mean? Participating organizations will receive a discount and will be asked to help evaluate the service along the way through short polls, questionnaires, or other forms of feedback.
How much does the pilot cost? $685.00 per organization.
Who can participate? This service is built for any organization! The experience is most suited for a director or organization leader, with the option to have a partner participant.
What is the Documentation Lab timeline? This is an eight-week experience starting in late summer/early fall 2026. There will be 2-3 synchronous events scheduled during the eight weeks. We are looking for a minimum of five participants to run the cohort, and we’ll cap enrollment at eight to keep the experience personal and engaging.
How do you get involved? Reach out to Laura Damon-Moore at laura@wils.org to let us know that you are interested in learning more. If you’d like to participate in this service pilot, please let Laura know by Friday, July 17th.
